The issues

While we need all housing options, we need a smart, balanced approach to development so that our homeowner occupancy percentage can increase vs. continuing to decline.

Find solutions to CLOSE the landfill. Do not expand it. Work with other cities & county leaders on the best way forward to solve this issue for all our citizens.

Our sewage capacity is dwindling. We will need more capacity & solutions soon to manage our dwindling capacity.

We need better solutions to manage traffic & commute times in our city.  Widening roads is one aspect along with adaptive signal technology and access roads.

Keep our First Responders FUNDED, well trained & compensated for the risks they take to keep us safe.  Attract more Police & Fire candidates to serve our citizens.

Attract great companies & corporate entities to Murfreesboro so that our citizens can stay here vs. commuting to Nashville.

Manage our budget in a fiscally responsible manner so that massive tax increases (like the one in 2019) are not repeated and avoided altogether.  

Work with our state representatives & senators in order to facilitate solutions to state roads (TDOT) and state guidelines on sewage capacity/discharge (TDEC).

Listen.   I will lead by listening to ALL of the citizens of Murfreesboro in order to make the best decisions for ALL of our citizens.
